Pamela Brandt is a Syracuse, NY native who attended Bucknell University for undergraduate and Midwestern University AZCOM for her medical degree. Although her love of primary care led her to internal medicine, Dr. Brandt’s passion has always been treating obesity in an effort to improve a patient’s health and functional longevity. After residency she started in primary care practice and also began to work with the bariatric team at Tower Health in Pennsylvania, where she helped develop their medical weight loss program. In 2021 she joined Inova and is currently the Director for Non-surgical Weight Loss and Obesity Treatment. Her focus is on using weight loss and behavioral change as tools to treat or prevent related conditions including diabetes, fatty liver disease, cardiovascular disease, and cancer.
