Lauren Fay is a Registered Dietitian who is the current Clinical Nutrition Manager at the Inova Schar Cancer Institute in Fairfax, VA.  Lauren graduated from James Madison University with her bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, followed by completing her Dietetic Internship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA.  She has spent her career supporting the nutrition needs of oncology patients in both the inpatient and ambulatory settings.  Lauren is board certified as an advanced practice RD (RD-AP), oncology nutrition (CSO), and nutrition support (CNSC).  Lauren recently completed her master’s degree in public health with a focus on health policy from George Mason University with hopes of contributing to policy change to improve access to Registered Dietitians in the ambulatory oncology setting.
