Dr. Kinariwala is a pediatric and adult vascular & interventional radiologist at New York University and Hassenfeld Children's Hospital at NYU. She completed medical school, internship, and IR/DR residency at the University of Virginia and a specialized pediatric IR fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She chose pediatric interventional radiology because of the possibility to use precision and technology to create a profound impact on a child's long-term health. She cares for adults and children with a wide variety of conditions, including vascular anomalies, tumors, liver diseases, renovascular disease, lymphatic disorders, arterial diseases and venous thrombosis and compression. Her research interests encompass medical education and advancing the field of pediatric endovascular interventions. She has volunteered in six foreign healthcare systems through global health programs over the course of her training and career. She enjoys working in a collaborative environment and growing the field of pediatric IR. In her free time, Dhara enjoys art, dance, and exploring the city.
