Dr. Joanna Wang is a specialty care physician board-certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, and critical care. She joined Inova in 2025 and has been practicing since 2016.

Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Wang served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in Pittsburgh, PA. She completed her internal medicine residency at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and her pulmonary and critical care fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She also conducted research at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
