Catherine Frickman, CCLS, CT, CGSS

Cami Frickman received her Bachelor of Fine Arts with a Certificate in Art Therapy from School of Visual Arts in New York. While at SVA, Cami completed art therapy internships at Mount Sinai in pediatric oncology and at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in the Adult Recreation Program. She completed her child life internship at Inova L.J. Murphy Children’s Hospital in 2004 and earned her child life certification in 2005. Cami currently works as the Child Life Specialist for Adult Services on the Inova Fairfax Medical Campus. Her role focuses on supporting children of adult patients as well as teen patients hospitalized on adult units. Cami received her certification as a Grief Support Specialist from University of Wisconsin in 2020 and her Certificate in Thanatology from Hood College in 2023.
