Dr. Shubha Srinivas is a specialty care physician board certified in pulmonary disease, critical care medicine and internal medicine at Inova Health System. She has been in practice since 2018.

Dr. Srinivas’ clinical areas of interest include the pulmonary care of patients with both thoracic and extrathoracic malignancies, resistant asthma, pleural diseases, and critical illness survivorship. Dr. Srinivas believes in a collaborative approach to patient care. She has won several teaching awards and is an Assistant Professor of Medical Education at the University of Virginia School of Medicine, Inova Campus. She serves as the course director for the undergraduate medical education pulmonary elective and co-directs the residency elective in pulmonary medicine. She has an evolving interest in pulmonary toxicities especially from immunotherapies and targeted therapies and is working to develop a screening protocol for eligible patients.
