Dr. Meredith Porter has practiced as a family physician in civilian and military primary and urgent care settings for over 28 years.    She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University, School of Medicine in 1996 and completed a Family Practice Internship and Residency program at US Army MEDDAC, Fort Belvoir.  With a commitment to educating future health providers, she serves as a clinical preceptor for multiple training programs, including University of Virginia, School of Nursing and Georgetown University.  She is currently the medical director for Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care centers delivering acute care access to the Inova community.
