Fayemi Johnson MD, FRCOG, FACOG

Biography

Dr. Fayemi Johnson received his medical degree from The University of Liberia in West Africa. He subsequently pursued advanced medical training in the United Kingdom, achieving board certification with The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (RCOG). Over five years in the UK, Dr. Johnson held increasing leadership roles, including managing clinical teams and promoting women's health initiatives. He then continued his career in the United States, completing his residency at Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC, where he was appointed Administrative Chief Resident during his final year. His commitment to medical education was recognized with the Resident Teacher of the Year award. He also received the Excellence in Minimal Invasive Gynecology award from The American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL). 

A Fellow of both The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FRCOG) and The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG), Dr. Johnson now practices at Inova Loudoun Hospital. He was honored with The Great Save award for outstanding patient care during a critical emergency. Dr. Johnson is married, has two children, and enjoys family travel and recreational flying.
