Silvia Nakasone, MHS, CCHW, serves as the Director of Community Health Programs at Inova Health System, where she leads strategic initiatives to improve healthcare access for underserved populations. She oversees several key programs, including the Inova Lions Eye Clinic, Partnership for Healthier Communities, Community Health Worker Program, and the Community Specialty Access Program.

Silvia’s vision for community health centers on building trust, fostering inclusive partnerships, and ensuring equitable access to care for all. Her work is guided by a deep belief that culturally responsive, community-driven solutions are essential to achieving lasting health equity.

Originally from Argentina and the daughter of Japanese immigrants, Silvia brings a unique multicultural lens to her leadership. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Salvador in Argentina and an M.A. in Health Science from the University of the Ryukyus in Japan.
