Cassie is a family nurse practitioner focused on outpatient advanced heart failure.  She has worked at Inova for almost 20 years in various roles and has seen the growth and expansion of the heart and vascular system over time.  Cassie is the lead outpatient heart failure advanced practice provider and oversees the urgent heart failure clinic, heart failure GDMT clinic, and cardiometabolic subspecialty clinic.  She serves as the chair of the APP professional development sub council which works to further APP practice and education across the Inova system.  She is a member of the American Association of Heart Failure Nurses and serves on the communications committee.
