Dr. Silpa Kilaru is a specialty care physician board certified in Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine. She joined Inova in 2025 and has been practicing since 2007.

Prior to joining Inova, Dr. Kilaru was the Medical Director of the Lung Transplant Program at University Hospitals of Cleveland in Cleveland, OH. Prior to this, she was at the University of Pittsburgh for 10 years as a Transplant Pulmonologist and Director of Fellow Education for Lung Transplant. Dr. Kilaru has a strong interest in lung transplant and ALD. She also has a strong interest in bronchoscopy particularly for patients after lung transplant.
