Aditi Angela Bhagat, MD, MPH, FACC, RPVI is a board-certified cardiologist practicing in Arlington, Virginia. She is currently with Virginia Heart and her clinical interests include preventive cardiology, women's health, cardio-oncology, atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease and heart failure. Dr. Bhagat earned her medical degree from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. She completed her internal medicine residency and served as Chief Resident at Stony Brook University Hospital, followed by fellowship training in Cardiovascular Disease where she also served as Chief Fellow at the same institution. Dr. Bhagat has contributed to peer-reviewed research on antiplatelet therapy, cardiotoxicity biomarkers, and cardiac testing methodologies.
