ForwardOlaide akande, MD
Dr. Olaide Akande is a board-certified internist and infectious disease specialist with a focus on caring for underserved populations. Her clinical interests include HIV/AIDS, chronic hepatitis, primary care, women’s health, and preventive medicine.
She completed her internal medicine residency at the University at Buffalo, followed by an infectious disease fellowship at MedStar Washington Hospital Center which she completed in 2017. She currently practices with the Inova Juniper Program starting in 2023. Prior to that she practiced at DC's largest FQHC - Unity health care
Dr. Akande is an active member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America and the American College of Physicians.
