I am board-certified in geriatric psychiatry with 12 years of experience. I am originally from Puerto Rico.  I completed my psychiatry residency at Lincoln Hospital in New York’s South Bronx and pursued a fellowship in Geriatric psychiatry at Beth Israel Hospital in New York’s lower Manhattan.

For the past five years, I have been working at the Merrifield Inova Outpatient Behavioral Health offices where I manage adult patients with a wide range of mental health disorders.

I will be presenting ways to treat agitation in older adults in the outpatient setting.
