Samantha Leite, MD
Samantha Leite, MD, is a gynecologic oncology fellow and physician–scientist with the National Capital Consortium where she focuses on integrating translational research with compassionate, high-quality cancer care. Her research centers on optimizing surgical decision-making and value-based care in gynecologic oncology, including cost-effectiveness analyses of sentinel lymph node strategies and perioperative risk assessment. She has presented her work at national meetings such as the Society of Gynecologic Oncology Annual Meeting and the GOG Fellows Forum, and has published in journals including Gynecologic Oncology and Gynecologic Oncology Reports. Dr. Leite is also an Assistant Professor of Gynecologic Surgery and Obstetrics at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, where she is deeply committed to medical education, clinical teaching, and mentoring the next generation of physicians.
