Christina Fiske, MD MPH

Christina Fiske, MD, is an accomplished physician
specializing in infectious diseases, with a particular
focus on non-tuberculous mycobacteria. She earned
her medical degree from Loyola University Chicago.
and completed her internal medicine residency at Duke University. Dr. Fiske then obtained her Master of
Public Health from Vanderbilt University, where she
also completed her fellowship in Infectious Diseases.
Currently, Dr. Fiske serves as an Assistant Professor
of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at
Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She is also the
Program Director for the Infectious
Diseases Fellowship Program, guiding the next
generation of specialists. In 2023, she co-founded the
Bronchiectasis and NTM Center at Vanderbilt, now an
accredited care center in the NTM-Bronchiectasis
Association, alongside Dr. James Tolle and serves as
its co-director. She has also contributed to national
efforts to improve care, serving on a committee with
the Bronchiectasis & NTM Association that published
a position statement on the structure of bronchiectasis
and nontuberculous mycobacteria care centers.
Dr. Fiske's commitment to her field is reflected in her
dual focus on research and clinical practice, making
significant contributions to the understanding and
treatment of infectious diseases.
