Jobira Woldemichael
Dr. Jobira Woldemichael is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in Nephrology at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, where Dr. Woldemichael has served as faculty since 2022. Dr. Woldemichael completed medical school at Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia in 2005 and internal medicine residency training at Wellstar Atlanta Medical Center in 2016, followed by a nephrology fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, completed in 2019. Dr. Woldemichael practiced clinical nephrology in private practice at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital before joining Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist.
Dr. Woldemichael’s clinical interests include continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), glomerulonephritis particularly complement-mediated glomerulonephritis, thrombotic microangiopathy, and renal disease related to multiple myeloma. Dr. Woldemichael provides care for dialysis patients at Atrium Wake Forest Piedmont Dialysis Unit, advancing dialysis care with an emphasis on home hemodialysis.
