Dr. Jiapeng Huang is tenured Professor and Vice Chairman of Anesthesiology and Perioperative

Medicine at University of Louisville, Louisville, KY, USA. Dr. Huang leads clinical and translational

research at University of Louisville and UofL Health as Chief Scientific Officer for UofL Health, and

Associate Dean for Clinical Research at School of Medicine, University of Louisville. Dr. Huang also

serves as Deputy Director, Louisville Clinical and Translational Research Center funded by National

Institute of General Medical Sciences. Dr. Huang has received over 30 million US dollars research

funding and has published over 200 peer reviewed articles in highly influential journals. Dr. Huang is

an internationally recognized expert on clinical outcome research, echocardiography, infection control,

innovative COVID-19 research, and artificial intelligence in perioperative medicine. Dr. Huang currently

serves as Editor of British Journal of Anaesthesia, Director and Full Examiner for American Board of

Anesthesiology, Director for American Society of Anesthesiologists, Director of Anesthesia Quality

Institute, President Elect for the Society for the Advancement of Transplant Anesthesia, and President

of Kentucky Medical Association.
