Cardiovascular Disease Fellow, Inova Fairfax Medical Campus 

Mickias Tegegn, MD, is a Cardiovascular Disease Fellow at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus in Falls Church, Virginia. He graduated with Distinction from Duke University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Before medical school, he completed a two-year postbaccalureate research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health, conducting clinical and translational research. He earned his medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. His clinical interests include preventive cardiology and electrophysiology. He has presented research at national meetings and is committed to advancing evidence-based cardiovascular care.
