Suneet Bhansali, MD
Title: Pediatric Cardiac Intensivist
Biography: Suneet Bhansali was born in India and moved to the United States at the age of five. He grew up in North Carolina, where he attended the NC School of Science and Mathematics before pursuing his undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He graduated with Honors with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and minors in Chemistry and Anthropology. After completing his undergraduate degree, Suneet went on to earn his Doctorate of Medicine from UNC School of Medicine.
Following medical school, Suneet moved to New York City to complete a general pediatric residency, and then pursued a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. He further specialized with training in pediatric cardiac intensive care and currently works as a pediatric cardiac intensivist at Inova Children’s Hospital in Fairfax, Virginia.
Suneet has a broad academic focus, with interests in transitions of healthcare, advances in pediatric cardiac imaging and surgery, cardiac arrest prevention in children, and the optimization of blood product administration in pediatric patients on VA-ECMO.
