Dr. Marc Delaney is a specialty care physician in pediatric cardiology with additional expertise in advanced cardiac imaging. He is board-certified in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology and joined Inova in 2025 as a member of the general cardiology outpatient team and as an imaging specialist in transthoracic, transesophageal, and fetal echocardiography, as well as cardiac MRI and CT.  

Dr. Delaney completed residency training in Pediatrics at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC, which included a 12-month research fellowship with the National Institutes of Health. He then completed categorical fellowship training in Pediatric Cardiology at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in Philadelphia, PA, and additional fellowship training in advanced cardiac imaging at Kravis Children’s Hospital of Mount Sinai in New York City, NY.  His research interest and experience involves quality improvement in medical education as well as improving the understanding and detection of various pathological states of the right ventricle through advanced imaging.
