Patrick Moran is an ECMO Clinical Director with Integration Health at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus, where he leads the combined pediatric and adult ECMO programs — a Platinum-level center of excellence. A Certified ECMO Specialist (Adult), Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN), and Cardiac Surgery Certified (CSC) clinician, he brings deep hands-on expertise in extracorporeal life support, mechanical circulatory assistance, and advanced critical care.

Patrick holds a BSN from Virginia Commonwealth University, an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, and a BS in Computer Science from North Carolina State University. Before transitioning to clinical practice, he spent nearly two decades in technology leadership, including senior roles at Memorex Telex and Attachmate Corporation, giving him a distinctive perspective at the intersection of clinical operations and systems thinking.
