<p>Feyza Basoglu is a board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist.&nbsp; She graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpasa School of Medicine, did her psychiatry residency at University of Massachusetts and child psychiatry fellowship at University of Vermont.&nbsp; She worked as a child psychiatrist and a community mental health agency working with underserved population and refugees which is her passion before moving to Virginia.&nbsp; She is currently the medical director of the adolescent psychiatry unit at the INOVA Fairfax Medical Campus.&nbsp; She is also the associate clerkship director for the Department of psychiatry for UVA School of Medicine, enjoying her teaching position to pass on her clinical expertise to the next generation of doctors.&nbsp; She is very interested in educating communities and breaking the stigma around mental health and expanding services to individuals and families in need.&nbsp; She is married with two children, loves hosting parties with authentic food, reading in her backyard hammock, traveling with family and friends and sometimes just sitting in nature.</p>
