Freidrich Anselmo, MD, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist at Forefront Dermatology in Fairfax, VA.

Dr. Anselmo earned his bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences before working as a medical assistant at a local dermatology clinic, where he developed a strong interest in the field. He went on to attend medical school at the University of Maryland in Baltimore.

He completed a preliminary year in internal medicine at the MedStar Health Baltimore Program, training at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital, Franklin Square Medical Center, and Harbor Hospital. He then returned to the University of Maryland for dermatology residency, where he served as Chief Resident in his final year.

Dr. Anselmo enjoys practicing the full spectrum of dermatology, including medical, surgical, and aesthetic dermatology.
