Stowe Locke Teti is a Senior Clinical Ethicist for Inova Health. He performs over 500 ethics consults per year across Inova's hospitals, is an instructor in the department of Internal Medicine for UVA Medicine and Instructor in Family Medicine affiliated with the Pellegrino Center for Clinical Bioethics at Georgetown University Medical School. He previously held appointments as core teaching faculty at Harvard Medical School in the Center for Bioethics and lecturer in the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine at the T.H. Chan School of Public Health, where he sat on the Harvard Ethics Leaders Group, was director of the bioethics writing program and Executive Editor of the Harvard Bioethics Journal. Stowe co-founded the Clinical Ethics Consultation Benchmarking Collaborative, a consortium dedicated to the study of hospital ethics consultation practices across the United States. Stowe is co-chair of the American Society of Bioethics and Humanities Clinical Ethics Affinity Group and serves on the Clinical Ethics Consultation Affairs committee, which advises on practice standards and prepares training materials for the field. Stowe has published over 50 articles and book chapters in the field of clinical ethics and biomedicine and presents nationally and internationally on subjects in clinical ethics and bioethics.
