Sofia Girald is a third-year OB-GYN resident at Inova Fairfax Hospital. Originally from Puerto Rico, she completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Puerto Rico before spending three years in a post-baccalaureate research program at the National Cancer Institute, NIH. She went on to attend the University of Missouri School of Medicine and is currently completing her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology.
