Dr. Thomas Sanders, MD, is an orthopedic foot and ankle specialist practicing at the Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Center  in Falls Church and Arlington. Dr. Sanders specializes in the treatment of foot and ankle sports injuries, lower extremity trauma, and post traumatic arthritis and deformities. 

Dr. Sanders attended the University of Virginia for his bachelor's degree and then earned his medical degree and completed his residency at Georgetown University. This was followed by a foot and ankle fellowship at the Florida Orthopedic institute in Tampa Florida.

Dr. Sanders is an assistant professor of Orthopedic surgery at Georgetown University, an assistant professor of medical education at the university of virginia and the Section Chief of Foot and Ankle surgery for the INOVA Health syste
