Osose Oboh, MD, MPH

Dr. Osose Oboh is a physician, a visual storyteller, and a fierce advocate for underrepresented minorities in medicine. She completed internal medicine residency at Johns Hopkins, and is now completing her second year of gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship at UCSF. She aspires to practice general GI with a focus on community education and engagement. She is heavily invested in pipeline work and has continued that throughout her medical training. As the 2020-2021 National President of the Student National Medical Association and Trustee of the National Medical Association, she discovered a deeper calling to empower future doctors of color leading to the creation of her non-profit, Be The Plug, in 2023. Beyond her medical pursuits, Dr. Oboh is a gifted photographer, capturing powerful narratives that illuminate the human experience and challenge perspectives. She embraces vulnerability, both in her practice and her art, believing that genuine connection is the most powerful medicine of all.
