Implementation Science Program Manager

Jennifer McCaughey serves as the Implementation Science Program Manager at Inova Health System, where she leads evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives to support system-wide clinical care improvement. With over 25 years of experience spanning clinical practice, nursing education, and implementation science, she has helped lead interdisciplinary teams in advancing evidence-based care and healthcare delivery.

Ms. McCaughey holds a Master of Science in Nursing Education from George Mason University and dual bachelor's degrees in Nursing and Psychology. She has presented at national and regional conferences, contributed to multiple editions of Brunner & Suddarth’s Textbook of Medical-Surgical Nursing, and been recognized for her leadership in nursing innovation. Her current work focuses on fostering psychological safety, reducing clinician burnout, strengthening implementation capacity, and supporting de-implementation efforts across the healthcare system.
