Benjamin Martin, MD, grew up outside of Boston, Mass. He moved to the Washington, D.C., area to attend Georgetown University. He decided to continue his education at Georgetown by attending medical school and completing a residency in orthopaedic surgery there. After 13 years at Georgetown, Dr. Martin moved to Dallas for a fellowship in pediatric orthopaedic surgery and scoliosis at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital. He joined Children's National Hospital in 2011. Dr. Martin specializes in adolescent idiopathic scoliosis and is dedicated to improving care delivery through his various committee work and leadership roles.
