Dr. Eric Stern completed his medical training at Boston University and his Pediatrics Residency and infectious disease fellowship at RADY Children’s Hospital San Diego.  Dr. Stern joined Medstar Georgetown Pediatrics in 2009 as a Pediatric infectious disease physician and is currently Chief of the Division of Pediatric infectious diseases.  Previously, Dr. Stern was an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer in the CDC’s Meningitis and Special Pathogens Branch, working in the field on outbreaks of bacterial meningitis, leptospirosis, Brucellosis and pertussis.
