Dr Cara Haberman is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Wake Forest School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She is a Pediatric Hospital Medicine subspecialist with a focus on children with complex medical conditions. Dr Haberman completed her medical degree at Dartmouth School of Medicine and did her residency in pediatrics at the University of Virginia. She was in the first cohort of physicians to become board certified in Pediatric Hospital Medicine. Dr Haberman has been affiliated with Victory Junction, a medical camp in North Carolina, since 2008. She was the on-site Medical Director from 2011-2015 and has revisted this role as the volunteer Medical Director since 2023. In her work Haberman gets the joy of both caring for complex children when they are at their sickest, and seeing those same children thrive in the camp environment.
