Ilan Vavilin is a cardiovascular disease fellow at Inova Schar Heart and Vascular. He completed his medical education at St. George's University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. He completed his internal medicine residency and chief residency at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. He has been involved in research having co-authored more than 30 abstracts, posters, and papers in peer reviewed journals. He is interested in cardiac critical care with a specific focus on interventional cardiology and management of patients with cardiogenic shock.
