Lauren Posey, DNP, FNP-C Doctor of Nursing Practice, Family Nurse Practitioner

Lauren is a lifelong resident of Virginia. She earned her Associates of Science in Nursing at Frederick Community College, Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Shenandoah University, and her Doctor of Nursing Practice at Shepherd University.  

Lauren has primarily worked in the field of oncology, both at the INOVA Schar Cancer Institute and Johns Hopkins Medicine - Suburban Hospital.  She is bringing a depth of knowledge and genuine empathy and compassion to her roles at INOVA Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Centers. 

Lauren believes a work/life balance is integral to wellness. In addition to practicing the art and science of medicine, she enjoys tending to her flower garden and restoring furniture.

She is excited to grow and use her knowledge gained from the amazing physicians, mid-level providers, and staff at INOVA. She will use this understanding to hone her gift of demystifying the interventions available by explaining them in a relatable way.  

Every day she looks forward to using her medical expertise and specialized support to help her patients create and maintain their wellness goals.
