Rebecca Kaltman
Dr. Rebecca Kaltman is a breast medical oncologist and the inaugural Executive Director of the Saville Cancer Screening and Prevention Center at the Inova Schar Cancer Institute. She obtained her undergraduate honors degree from the University of Michigan followed by her medical degree at MCP-Hahnemann University School of Medicine. She then trained in internal medicine and medical oncology at the University of Pennsylvania and served on the faculty of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine as a breast oncologist and clinical researcher in the Rena Rowan Breast Center, part of the Abramson Cancer Center of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Kaltman has focused her career thus far in caring for patients with breast cancer and those with hereditary cancer syndromes. In her new role at Inova, she is expanding the reach of cancer prevention and early detection services for Northern Virginia and beyond. She was recently named to the Health Equity & Outcomes Committee (HEOC) of ASCO (American Society of Clinical Oncology) for a three year appointment and serves in a leadership role on the Virginia Breast Cancer Taskforce within CACV (Cancer Action Coalition of Virginia).
