Dr. Kristin Marge is the Pharmacy Education and Residency Coordinator for Inova Health System. She works to develop and share education for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians working in the inpatient setting, ambulatory care, community and specialty pharmacies, and infusion centers. She also supports the PGY1 and PGY2 residency programs at Inova and provides preceptor development for preceptors of student and resident rotations. She joined Inova Mount Vernon in 2010 as a Pharmacy Clinical Specialist after completing her PGY1 residency at Inova Fairfax Hospital. In 2016, she founded the PGY1 residency program at Inova Mount Vernon where she served as Residency Program Director for seven graduating classes. In 2020, she also joined the team at Inova Alexandria Hospital as a Regional Pharmacy Clinical Specialist for Emergency Medicine. She became the Residency Program Director for the Alexandria PGY1 residency program where she served for three graduating classes. In 2016, she was recognized with an Outstanding Preceptor Award from Virginia Commonwealth University, and in 2021, she was awarded Preceptor of the Year from Shenandoah University.
