Anne Brittain, PhD RT(R)(M)(QM)CPHQ, LSSGB, FASRT
Anne Brittain is the Acute Care System Director of Quality Improvement and Outcomes for Inova Health System. She has been with Inova since Nov 2017. Prior to moving to Northern Virginia she worked in corporate quality improvement for a large health system in South Carolina. Her background prior to moving to healthcare quality improvement was in radiology where she spent > 20 years.
Anne received a Bachelor of Health Science in Radiography at the University of Missouri in Columbia. She also received a Master of Education and PhD in Career Education at the University of Missouri in Columbia. She is certified and registered in radiography, mammography, and quality management by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. She is also a certified professional in healthcare quality by the Healthcare Quality Certification Commission and has a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. She was elevated to Fellow of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists in 2015.
Anne currently serves as a quality management delegate to the ASRT House of Delegates and vice-chair of the Quality Management Chapter. She served on the board of directors of the Missouri Society of Radiologic Technologists for 10 years and is a past president of the South Carolina Association of Healthcare Quality.
