Brandon Propper, MD
Dr. Brandon Propper is currently a Professor of Surgery at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS) and the Program Director for Vascular Surgery at Walter Reed and the National Capital Consortium. He has been part of the NCR since 2021 and was previously the General Surgery Program Director at Brooke Army Medical Center. He is a Colonel in the US Air Force and the Vascular Surgery Consultant to the USAF Surgeon General. At USUHS he is part of the combat casualty care research team with specific interest in vascular trauma, hemorrhage control and limb salvage. His clinical practice is at Walter Reed with additional clinical work at The National Institutes of Health Clinical Center and the George Washington University Hospital. As part of the USUHS faculty he helps work with both military and civilian leaders to expand GME and faculty training opportunities.
