Joshua Stodghill, DO
Dr. Josh Stodghill is an acute care surgeon who is employed at Carilion Clinic's level one trauma center. Dr. Stodghill is board certified in surgical critical care and general surgery completing residency and fellowship training at INOVA in Fairfax, VA. In addition to his clinical duties, Dr. Stodghill teaches fellows, residents, and medical students from numerous institutions. He serves as an assistant professor for the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine. Dr. Stodghill is active in research with numerous publications and presentations with many projects on going. He has a special interest in rural and international trauma outreach and development. He is currently an ATLS course director, FCCS course director, and rural trauma team development course medical director providing trauma education/development to providers throughout Southwest Virginia and West Virginia. Dr. Stodghill has also provided surgical and critical care medical missions in Malawi, has been an invited speaker to the Belize Medical and Dental Association, and serves as the chair of the finance committee for the Association of Academic Global Surgery.
