Carolyn Davis MD, FACOG, is an Associate Professor of Medical Education at the University of Virginia School of Medicine, Inova Campus.  She serves as the OB/GYN Clerkship Director of the University of Virginia School of Medicine, Inova Campus, and Director of Undergraduate Affiliate Rotations at Inova Health Systems.   She attended residency training at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, DC.  She is a Board-Certified OB/GYN and has worked at Inova Health System since 1993.  Dr. Davis has worked in medical education since 2008 as a lecturer and mentor for the OB/GYN Clerkship students and was the director of the Ambulatory Clerkship for the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, Inova Campus from 2015 to 2019.  She has developed projects in simulation-based learning for medical students and residents regarding adolescent gynecology rights and confidentiality, postpartum care, postoperative rounding, menopause management, health literacy, and informed consent.
