Sarah A. Korth, MD
Dr. Korth is an attending physician at Johns Hopkins Hospital and Kennedy Krieger Institute and an assistant professor of physical medicine and rehabilitation at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Korth earned her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Michigan and earned her Medical Degree from Michigan State University’s College of Human Medicine. Dr. Korth’s post-doctoral training included a double residency from 2010-2015 in Pediatrics and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia and AI DuPont Hospital for Children (now Nemours Children’s Hospital) in Wilmington, Delaware. She is the Director of the Keelty Center for Spina Bifida & Related Conditions at Kennedy Krieger Institute and manages the care of people with spina bifida of all ages, from newborn through adulthood, and additionally offers prenatal counseling to women pregnant with fetuses diagnosed with spina bifida. She is particularly interested in a whole-person approach to management of children and adults with congenital conditions, including maximizing mobility, independence, continence/neurogenic bowel management, transition to adulthood, sexual education, and aging with spina bifida.
