John Barber is a Senior Staff Biostatistician at Childrens National Hospital.  His interdisciplinary research helps determine predictors/determinants of pediatric health outcomes.  Some areas he frequently works in includes Type I Diabetes, Cerebral Malaria, Urea Cycle Disorders, among many others. Statistically he specializes in Categorical Analyses, Cohort Analyses, Epidemiological analyses, Spatial analyses, and Survival analyses.  His work helps bridge the gap between clinical care and translational science.
