Amber Shelton, MD, MS
Amber Shelton is a pediatric resident at Children's National. She completed her undergraduate and graduate education at Villanova University and medical school at Temple University. Throughout her training she has been passionate improving equity in spaces of higher education, and as a result has served as the Vice President of the Black Cultural Society at Villanova University and one of the founding members of the Student Diversity Council at Temple University, a group that established a role for North Philadelphia community members on the medical school's admission committee. Her career goal is to complete fellowship training and work as an attending who is dual certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine and Child Abuse Pediatrics.
