Eiman was born in Ethiopia and after spending early childhood in Addis Ababa, she moved to England for a few years before immigrating to the United States. She has lived in different States but considers DMV her home. Eiman is currently a Clinical Associate Professor Of Pediatrics and Emergency Medicine at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences.  Her professional interest is in global health and reading advocacy.
