Joyce Li is an Assistant Professor in Pediatrics and Emergency Medicine at Harvard Medical School and a pediatric emergency medicine physician at Boston Children’s Hospital.  She has devoted her career to the improvement of the care of pediatric emergency patients in all settings.  This includes on-the-ground work and educational initiatives with general emergency departments, Emergency Medical Service for Children (EMSC) state agencies, and pediatricians as well as public health work in pediatric surge planning and pediatric behavioral health. She currently serves as member of the national Pediatric Committee of the America College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP), the steering committee for EMSC Innovation and Improvement Center (EIIC) knowledge management, Chair of the New England Regional EMSC Collaborative, Vice Chair of the American Academy of Pediatrics Section of Emergency Medicine Pediatric Readiness Subcommittee and Pediatric Co-Chair of the Massachusetts Chapter of ACEP.
