Mark Everard is Emeritus Professor of Pediatric Respiratory Medicine at the University of Western Australia.

His research has focused on attempting to improve our understanding and treatment of respiratory disease in children and runs the full gamut from cut edge laboratory studies to multicentre RCTs.  This has taken him into the areas of airways disease including asthma and PBB,,aerosol therapy, the respiratory microbiome, aerosol therapy, respiratory lower respiratory tract infections and their impacts on pre-school children, breath sounds, understanding and modifying patient behaviour.
