Jessica Kahn, MD MPH
Jessica Kahn, MD MPH is a Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and the former Rauh Chair and Director of the Division of Adolescent and Transition Medicine at Cincinnati Children’s. Her clinical practice focuses on adolescent and young adult health. Her research focuses on prevention of cervical cancer and other diseases related to human papillomavirus, has been NIH funded since 2002, and has been disseminated through approximately 200 publications. She has mentored many students, trainees and faculty in clinical care and research during her 25 years at Cincinnati Children’s. She serves as the Associate Chair of Academic Affairs and Career Development at Cincinnati Children’s and in this role facilitates academic affairs, faculty development, and diversity, equity and inclusion programs for the hospital’s faculty and staff as well as pathway programs for students. She also serves as the Co-Director of the University of Cincinnati’s Clinical and Translational Science Award, the Center for Clinical and Translational Science and Training, which fosters clinical and translational research and workforce development across the University of Cincinnati. She has served as President of the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine, a member of the World Health Organization’s HPV Vaccine Advisory Committee, and chair of the HPV Vaccine Committee of the International Pediatric Association. Dr. Kahn received an MD from Harvard Medical School and MPH from the Harvard School of Public Health.
