Raj Shekhar, PhD

Raj Shekhar is a principal investigator in the Sheikh Zayed Institute for Pediatric Surgical Innovation at Children’s National Hospital and a professor of Radiology and Pediatrics at George Washington University. He previously held academic positions at The Cleveland Clinic and the University of Maryland, Baltimore. Dr. Shekhar has founded two medical technology startups, IGI Technologies and AusculTech Dx. He holds a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur; an M.S. in Bioengineering from Arizona State University; and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from The Ohio State University.
