Imelda Tjia is a pediatric anesthesiologist at Texas Children’s Hospital/Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.

 She is a member of the Society for Pediatric Anesthesia and its Quality and Safety Committee. A member of Wake Up Safe, a quality improvement organization born of the Society for Pediatric Anesthesia since 2009, she collaborates with other institutions nationally to endeavor bringing about changes that will improve patient safety and ensure the delivery of high quality of care.  She enjoys teaching QI through workshops and classes.
