Kellee Humphries, Simulation Operations Specialist

 I am a Simulation Operations Specialist at Children's National Hospital. I have been in this role for 2 years.  I entered into this role with 14.5 years of experience as a Patient Care Technician on the Hematology/Oncology Unit here at Children's National.  During this time, I also served as a Volunteer Emergency Medical Technician for the Prince George's County, MD Fire Department. In carrying out these roles, I developed a passion for teaching and educating upcoming patient care technicians and hospital employees on the things that I have learned during my almost 20 years in healthcare. My role as Simulation Operations Specialist allows me to continue educating those new to their role in the healthcare setting. Simulation is continuing to grow and it has been an enriching experience having the opportunity to meet and be among a group of people that are adding to the cutting edge and transformative practice of simulation.
